THE CREATIVE BLOCK
DYNAMIC VISUAL IDENTITY
Every artist, designer, writer or any other creator has faced a creative block somewhere on their creative path. No one is immune I am no exception to that. Instead of doing nothing and wait for creativity to kick in, I made a project about creative block. Since I got really interested in dynamic graphic design, I came up with an idea of an actual block, which side surfaces would variate in colors.
“The block” serves as a base on which anyone can try to simulate their brain and find an object they associate with a block. The same rules apply as finding shapes in clouds, everyone sees something different in a block. Here are just few of the things I came up with.
The main goal was experimentation and exploration of dynamic design, using different models of dynamic brand identities that Irene Van Nes and Ulrike Felsing defined in their books.
