Project ApiGlobal was made in collaboration with the Faculty of Design, Ljubljana, and GIDE - Group for International Design Education. Every year in different hosting countries, GIDE organizes a week of design workshops and gallery/museum/exhibition visits for students and professors from various international design educational institutions.

GIDE 2020 was supposed to be hosted by Slovenia - Radovljica Beekeeping Museum - which was the location chosen in connection to the event theme: bees and beekeeping - as one of the most globally important species. The project's name ApiGlobal, consists of two words: api (a bee in Latin) and global (symbolizing international project).
